Ethiopian Yirgacheffe, the birth place of all modern coffees.
This delicate bean is light roasted to enhance the fruity flavour profile whilst retaining the subtle woody aromas associated with Ethiopian coffees.
Sourced from the Kokie washing station, located on the outside edges of Yirgacheffe town, in the Gedeo zone, the area has great growing conditions as well as being notorious for producing classic ‘Ethiopian’ coffee. Coffee in this region is typically grown on a very small scale in the small holdings and gardens of producers before being brought to the washing station for processing.
Tasting Notes: A woody, berry aroma with citrus, grape and sweet coconut tasting notes.
